IDMC welcomed a delegation from EuroCham Jordan to its Amman offices to explore opportunities for investment promotion and stronger connections with the European business community.

Discussions focused on connecting companies and investors at Ad-Dulayl Development Zone with European markets, supporting export opportunities, facilitating business matchmaking and B2B meetings, and participating in investment and business events.

IDMC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the India & Arab Countries Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (IACCIA), as part of IDMC’s efforts to strengthen its engagement with the Indian business community, promote Ad-Dulayl Development Zone, and attract Indian industrial investments.

The MoU represents an important step toward establishing sustainable cooperation between the two parties, with plans to develop a series of joint meetings, events, and activities aimed at promoting the investment opportunities available within Ad-Dulayl Development Zone and creating new channels of communication with Indian investors and companies.

Ambassador of India to Jordan Visits IDMC to Discuss Investment Opportunities and Strengthen Jordan–India Economic Cooperation.

IDMC welcomed H.E. Mr. Manish Chauhan, Ambassador of India to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on Thursday, 24 September 2026, accompanied by Mr. Asad Zuberi, Second Secretary (Commerce), and Ms. Ruba Alfaouri, Marketing Officer at the Embassy of India in Jordan.

The delegation was received by Eng. Mousa Wakileh, Chairman of IDMC, and Mr. Rami Mansi, Marketing & Business Development Manager.

During the visit, Eng. Mousa Wakileh provided an overview of IDMC, its role in industrial development, and its experience in supporting investors in Jordan. Discussions also addressed key issues and priorities of investors operating in Ad-Dulayl Development Zone, as well as opportunities to further enhance the investment environment.

H.E. Ambassador Manish Chauhan expressed his interest in supporting the further development of investment and economic relations between Jordan and India, and in contributing to efforts to introduce Indian companies and investors to the opportunities available at Ad-Dulayl Development Zone.

Chairman Eng. Mousa Wakileh highlighted the importance of strengthening economic ties with Pakistan and promoting IDMC as an attractive investment destination.

The meeting covered key investment opportunities, incentives, existing Pakistani investments, and the planned Phase 3 expansion.

Mr. Khattak expressed interest in connecting IDMC with Pakistani companies and investors to explore potential industrial investments and cooperation.

IDMC organized an awareness workshop titled “2026 Energy Audit Program Grant for the Industrial Sector (ISEEP)”, with the participation of a number of representatives from factories and investors operating in Ad-Dulayl Development Zone.

The workshop was held as part of the Company’s efforts to promote energy efficiency and support industrial establishments in benefiting from specialized national programs. The workshop was delivered by Green Technology Company to introduce participants to the Energy Audit Program offered by the Jordan Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Fund (JREEEF), under the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, in cooperation with the Jordan Chamber of Industry.

IDMC participated in the Fourth Consultative Coordination Meeting, held by the Ministry of Investment on July 9, 2026, with the participation of the main developers of Jordan’s Development and Free Zones.

U.S. Ambassador Alice Wells visited Ad-Dulayl Industrial Park and Development Zone, where she met with companies and workers in the textile manufacturing sector. These companies export to the United States under the Free Trade Agreement signed between the two countries in 2001.

During the visit, Ambassador Wells discussed opportunities for expanding exports to the U.S. and European markets.

The USAID Jordan Workforce Development Project launched an initiative to encourage local residents from Ad-Dulayl to join the garment factories at Ad-Dulayl Industrial Park and Development Zone, which offer thousands of job opportunities.

Her Majesty's Ambassador to Jordan, Edward Oakden, visited Ad-Dulayl Industrial Park and Development Zone, where he toured the garment factory and discussed economic growth and job creation opportunities stemming from changes to the EU Rules of Origin.
